The Northeast Association for Language Learning Technology (NEALLT) and the New England Regional Association for Language Learning Technology will hold a joint conference at Yale University, Center for Language Study, October 30-31, 2009.
The conference theme will be “Distance and blended learning environments.” Our keynote speaker will be Professor Richard Kern, Director of the Berkeley Language Center and Associate Professor of French at the University of California at Berkeley.

A block of rooms has been reserved for conference participants at the Premiere Hotel and Suites. The conference rate is $133 plus tax, which includes a studio suite, breakfast, and a shuttle to the Yale campus. You must mention the NEALLT/NERALLT Conference to qualify for this rate. Reservations must be made by September 29, 2009.

Parking Information:
Parking on the Yale campus is very limited. There are metered spaces available, but the 2-hour limit is strictly enforced.
We have set aside a number of parking spaces at the Pierson-Sage Parking Garage for Friday, October 30th. You will need to indicate on the registration form that you need parking. The daily cost for parking in the Pierson Sage parking lot is $8.00. You will be sent a code with your registration confirmation that allows access to this garage.
Directions to the parking garage: The garage is located at 280 Whitney Avenue but visitors must enter via the roof entrance located on Edwards Street. Go up Whitney and then turn left on to Edwards St. and then left into the garage. Once in the garage, you can park on any level, but you MUST enter and leave via the Roof entrance.
Please note:
* You may only enter and leave once during the day or you will be charged an additional parking fee.
* The garage is about a 15-minute walk from the Center for Language Study. A
Yale Shuttle bus (the “Blue Line”) stops on Whitney Avenue, next to the garage (look for a bus shelter) every 10-minutes and can drop you off at the corner of Temple and Grove, where the conference will be held.
* On Saturday, parking is free on all Yale lots and you will be able to park closer by (directions will be available at the registration desk.
